Every accident is unwelcome. We know that sorting out the claim detail and making the initial report can be stressful and that is before you have even thought about repairing the damage. That is why we are here to help take those worries away.
If you are involved in an accident, and whether you are to blame or not:
We take care of...
- liaising with your insurance company and the other driver; just give us a call and we will do the rest.
- the recovery of your damaged vehicle to an approved Accident Repair Centre and the full management of the repairs.
- arranging to keep you mobile whilst your vehicle is being repaired.
- managing all of the communication with all other parties.
- in the case of an accident for which you are not to blame, arranging for the recovery of your uninsured losses - including your policy excess, hire charges, loss of earnings, out of pocket expenses and injury compensation.
‘Light Touch’ Accident Management (for fleets operating less than 50 vehicles)
CBVC recognises that many drivers need help when they are involved in an incident, regardless of whether or not they are at fault. CBVC in partnership with Accident Exchange provides a service whereby a driver can call in and get that help. At the first notification of loss, Accident Exchange then determines liability. This enables those that are not at fault for an incident to gain the services they require, such as Personal Injury (PI), Uninsured Losses Recovery (ULR) and Credit Hire.
For those incidents where the driver is liable, or the liability cannot be determined, Accident Exchange will still help them through the process by:
- 24/7 helpline.
- Recovering any undriveable vehicle.
- Liaising with their Insurer regarding the incident.
- Booking in and managing the repair of the vehicle.
- Provision of a courtesy car from the repairer.
